Non-GM Lecithin. LanesHealth has recently taken steps to ensure that its Lecigran comes from non-GM soya. Previously we had to rely on tests to ensure that Lecigran tested negative for GM material, we have now managed to locate a source of Lecithin which is supplied with a full paper trail. This document follows the soya through each step of the process, from the fields where it is grown, up until the point that it is packed, and ensures that Lanes Lecigran is derived from non-GM Soya. Minor Product Variations Sources of IP'd lecithin are limited and we have had to change to a new supplier for the product. Regular users will be aware that taste and colour have always varied slightly from batch to batch and such changes did not affect the quality of the product in any way. The variations that occur with the new non-GM product are more pronounced although again do not in any way affect the quality of the product. Our IP'd lecithin is a darker granule with a slightly stickier texture, the odour of the granule may also appear slightly stronger when the tin is first opened. Regular users may also spot minor differences in the nutritional information provided on the pack. These changes reflect the different growing conditions and processing methods that are used and will not affect the quality of the product in any way. Remember it continues to be important to store lecithin in a cool dry place (not a refrigerator) and if you prefer not to eat it directly from the spoon we suggest mixing the granules with food. We are delighted to be able to offer a non-GM lecithin granule and we are confident that customer will appreciate this and will readily accept any minor variations in colour and taste.
Lecigran is the natural source supplement to use as part of a low fat and low cholesterol diet. Lecigran granules are the purest form of Lecithin available. Lecithin is a complex mixture of natural chemical compounds called "phospholipids" which consist of fatty acids and a phosphate group linked to choline and inositol. In the human body, where the highest concentrations are found in the brain, liver, kidneys and bone marrow, lecithin circulates in the blood keeping other fatty substances - including cholestertol - in suspension.
Directions:
Take 1 teaspoonful 3 times daily. Can be sprinkled onto cereals or taken direct from the spoon
